Adult Dragonfly Tee

To celebrate our 14th Anniversary, we picked “The Dragonfly Harbor” to help as our latest Shirt That Gives Back. They are a Louisiana non profit (main office in Ruston, LA) who help Survivors of human trafficking, sexual abuse and assault.
14% of the sale of each of these tees during the month of August will be donated to them. The design is featured on a super soft Bella Canvas tee in peach with a hand drawn chocolate colored Dragonfly inspired by da Vinci’s iconic “Vitruvian Man” drawing from the year 1490. 60%cotton, 40% poly. The founders are Jennifer Mire and Tiffani Robinson-Jones who are licensed counselors that have been serving this population for years but recognized some gaps that existed in our state. They serve all 64 parishes and provide services for survivors such as trauma counseling, financial literacy, life skills, hygiene and essential needs assistance and assistance with finding safe shelter as we are able. They also provide awareness and educational trainings for businesses, churches and law enforcement in trafficking identification and trauma as well as other prevention projects.

The Dragonfly Harbor co founders are working on fundraising and a capital campaign to raise funds for a tiny home community, it’s their next step in services that is a huge gap and need in Louisiana. The tiny home community would be a residential community where survivors (and their kids/families) can restart, receive trauma informed services, etc. Right now, many survivors do not have safe and stable housing, so they unfortunately return to the life. Through this, they will be able to heal, build needed skills, save and eventually reintegrate into the community more successfully and more prepare.
